Key responsibilities include:

• Taking ownership of key financial reporting activities at month-end.
• Leading statutory reporting and acting as a key contact throughout the external audit process.
• Delivering meaningful financial insight to support decision-making across the wider business.
• Partnering with senior stakeholders to improve financial performance and challenge existing processes.
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting and long-term financial planning activities.
• Driving improvements across reporting, controls and governance frameworks.
• Playing a key role in strategic projects, change initiatives and wider business improvements.
• Developing strong relationships across both finance and operational teams.
• Coaching and developing members of the finance team

Person specification:

• Package up to £70,000
• ACA or ACCA qualified
• Trained within an accountancy practice

• Naturally inquisitive with a continuous improvement mindset
• Keen to develop leadership and people management skills
