Robert Half Accountancy and Finance have partnered with a well respected manufacturing business based in Stockton-on-Tees to recruit a hands-on Finance Manager. This is a great opportunity for a motivated, detail-driven candidate looking to step up into a broad, all-encompassing role within a small, high-performing business.
Working closely with a Finance Assistant, you'll take ownership of the full finance function from day-to-day operations through to management reporting and group-level visibility. This role offers a strong handover and structured induction, with the current incumbent committed to providing excellent training and ongoing support to ensure you get up to speed quickly and succeed in the position.
The Role:
- Full ownership of management & financial accounts
- Lead on month-end, reporting and budgeting
- Oversee AP/AR, cash, payroll and reconciliations
- Manage project invoicing and financial controls
- Work with international teams on intercompany reporting
- Drive process improvements and reporting enhancements
About You:
- Newly qualified (ACCA/CIMA) or close to qualifying
- Previous experience in a similar Finance Manager or Management Accountant role
- Hands-on, proactive, and happy working in a lean team
- Strong Excel skills (Power Query beneficial)
- Confident communicator across all levels
- Commercial mindset with the ability to add value beyond the numbers
