Finance Manager | Cheshire | £60,000 – £70,000
An opportunity to join a FTSE listed business, with excellent brand recognition across the UK. This highly visible role will be focussed in working closely with the Group Financial Controller and provide support in a wide range of areas, including;
- Lead the delivery of financial planning activities, ensuring robust projections and timely management information.
- Enhance operational efficiency by refining workflows, strengthening governance frameworks, and embedding best practices.
- Oversee compliance-related financial disclosures and support the implementation of evolving accounting and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple functions to support decision-making and drive commercial outcomes.
- Identify areas for financial optimisation, helping to maximise profitability and improve resource allocation.
- Analyse complex financial information and present meaningful recommendations to support strategic objectives.
- Provide leadership, mentoring, and professional development opportunities to members of the finance function.
- Support the leadership of the finance department in partnership with senior management, helping to maintain a collaborative and results-focused environment.
There will be particular emphasis for the successful candidate to take the lead on identifying and implementing process improvements across the finance function, from transactional to reporting.
Candidate profile;
- ACA/ACCA trained to Manager level preferred
- Strong technical reporting experience
- IFRS knowledge preferred but not essential
- Staff management experience preferred
- Natural problem solving and communication skills
