The Opportunity
The Finance Manager will play a central role in overseeing day-to-day financial operations while supporting strategic financial planning. This Finance Manager role sits at the heart of a small but high-performing team and offers increasing involvement in forecasting, reporting and business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing and developing a small finance team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations
- Overseeing banking, cash flow and credit control activity
- Leading billing processes and monitoring work in progress
- Managing payroll and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements
- Maintaining compliance with SRA Accounts Rules and client money regulations
- Supporting monthly management accounts and partner reporting
- Assisting with budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis
- Improving systems, controls and finance processes
About You
- Part-qualified or qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Strong experience in a finance management or senior finance role
- Background in professional services, ideally legal or regulated environments
- Confident preparing management accounts and financial reporting
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive, hands-on approach
- Excellent communication skills, able to work with stakeholders across the business
What’s On Offer
- Salary £55,000 – £65,000 depending on experience
