Description

  • Prepare and manage budgets, including forecasting and financial planning activities.
  • Responsible for grant reporting and internal grant allocation
  • Oversee financial reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Monitor cash flow and provide insights to support organisational decision-making.
  • Maintain and improve financial policies, systems, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment of financial goals with operational objectives.
  • Handle audits and liaise with external auditors as required.
  • Support grant management processes, including financial tracking and reporting.
  • Provide financial advice to leadership to aid strategic planning.

Profile

A successful Finance Manager should have:

  • Professional Accountancy qualification, eg ICAS, CIMA, ACCA, etc
  • Proven experience in financial management within the Not For Profit or public sector.
  • Strong knowledge of financial compliance and reporting standards.
  • Understanding of Grant Funded organisations
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools, XERO would be advantageous.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Job Offer

  • Daily rate between £270 and £330, depending on experience.
