Finance Manager (Part-Time)
Location: Worksop (hybrid)
Salary: £32,000 – £37,000 pro rata (DOE)
Contract: Permanent, 2.5–3 days per week
The Role
Reed Finance are partnering with an organisation in the charity sector who are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to lead the finance function within a dynamic, purpose-driven organisation in the Non for Profit sector. Reporting to the CEO, you’ll play a key role in financial planning, reporting, and supporting strategic decision-making, while collaborating closely with senior leadership and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, cashflow and monthly reporting
- Produce management accounts, variance analysis and financial reports for senior leadership, boards and funders
- Oversee tax matters and year-end processes
- Manage cashflow with rolling forecasts and drive financial sustainability
- Support funding applications with project budgets and reporting
- Maintain and improve financial systems, controls and reporting processes
- Partner with internal teams to support commercial decision-making and cost management
- Manage external providers (e.g. payroll, HR) and mentor a junior team member
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and funding requirements
About You
- Qualified Accountant (or QBE) with strong financial management experience
- Proven ability to operate both strategically and hands-on
- Skilled in stakeholder engagement, including non-finance audiences
- Experience in budgeting, financial planning and reporting
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Experience or understanding of Finance processes in the Public Sector or Not for Profit sector
