We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established organisation within the education sector for the position of Finance Manager, based in the Swansea area. This is a temporary assignment suited to an experienced finance professional looking to contribute to an organisation committed to educational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
- Managing day-to-day financial operations and ensuring accuracy in financial reporting
- Overseeing budgeting processes and financial forecasting
- Preparing monthly financial statements and ensuring regulatory compliance
- Collaborating with departments across the organisation to support financial planning and decision-making
- Providing insights and recommendations to improve financial performance
- Leading a small team and fostering a positive, collaborative working environment
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience in a finance management role, ideally within the education sector
- Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey financial information clearly to non-financial colleagues
- A collaborative approach with strong team-working skills
- A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement
