Finance Manager – Food Wholesale Industry – Battersea, South London – Fully office based – £60,000 – £70,000
We are seeking an experienced and qualified Finance Manager to join a growing organisation. This is a key role responsible for delivering accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong financial controls, and supporting budgeting, forecasting, and audit processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver accurate monthly management accounts, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reporting.
- Lead balance sheet reconciliations and maintain the integrity of financial records
- Manage year-end processes and coordinate audit preparation
- Provide insightful financial analysis
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and reporting requirements
Candidate Requirements
- Fully qualified accountant
- Proven experience producing end-to-end management accounts for a SME
- Strong audit preparation experience with the ability to maintain accurate and well-documented financial records.
- Demonstrable experience identifying, investigating, and resolving accounting discrepancies.
- Advanced proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel, with experience using Sage Intacct highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Desirable – Experience reporting into a company Owner/ Founder
