It would favour a strong Finance Manager (part or fully qualified considered) with strong experience of operating within an engineering or manufacturing company.
Your focus will be on…
- Maintaining and developing standard costing model
- Supporting with Budget setting and Forecasting
- Supporting with some overseas accounting matters
- VAT returns
- Calculating and reviewing cost of goods
- Oversight of Payroll
You will be working across a finance team of 5 and you'll have…
- A strong understanding of accounting matters as a whole
- An ACCA, ACA, CIMA qualification (part-qualified also considered)
- Excellent Excel skills and systems knowledge
- A background working within Manufacturing/ Engineering businesses, which has given you a good background in Inventory accounting and Standard Costing
- Some Payroll knowledge
