Robertson Bell are delighted to be partnering with a respected not-for-profit organisation to recruit a Finance Officer on a permanent, part-time basis (21 hours per week).
This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and collaborative finance team within a values-led organisation. Following a recent restructure, they are seeking an experienced finance professional to support a busy Accounts Payable function and help maintain efficient processes and strong financial controls.
Key Responsibilities: • Review and process invoices through the purchase-to-pay system • Resolve supplier and internal stakeholder queries • Reconcile supplier statements and investigate discrepancies • Prepare payment runs and support BACS and foreign currency payments • Review expenses and corporate card claims • Support system administration and user training • Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
The Successful Candidate: • Previous experience within Accounts Payable or a similar finance role • Experience using a purchase-to-pay system • Strong understanding of invoice processing, reconciliations and payment runs • Intermediate Excel skills • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills • Able to learn new systems and processes quickly • Experience with Coupa, Business Central or similar systems would be advantageous • AAT qualification or studying towards one would be desirable
