Are you an experienced Finance Assistant looking for a flexible part-time opportunity? We are currently recruiting for a Part-Time Finance Assistant to join a friendly and supportive organisation based just outside of Stockton-on-Tees.This is an ongoing temporary assignment offering 25 hours per week, with flexibility around working days and hours, making it an ideal opportunity for candidates seeking a role that can fit around school hours and other commitments.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing purchase invoices accurately and efficiently
- Preparing and processing supplier payments
- Allocating incoming cash and reconciling customer accounts
- Processing employee expenses
- Performing bank and account reconciliations
- Assisting with general finance administration
- Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc duties as required
About You
- Previous experience in a finance or accounts role is essential.
- Strong understanding of invoice processing, reconciliations, and cash allocation
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage workloads effectively and prioritise tasks
- Competent using finance systems and Microsoft Excel
- Available to start immediately or at short notice
