Description

Finance Regulatory Reporting Change Lead responsibilities:

  • Lead regulatory reporting change initiatives, ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
  • The role has coverage across all Regulatory Change activities, using strong knowledge and experience of UK Prudential Regulations and the EU Regulatory environment to deliver success.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the Banking department to align on project goals.
  • Analyse current reporting processes and identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency.
  • Develop and implement strategies to address regulatory changes and requirements.
  • Provide oversight and guidance to project teams, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of objectives.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of banking regulations and industry best practices.
  • Communicate project updates and outcomes to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure all regulatory reporting processes adhere to internal and external compliance standards.

Profile

A successful Finance Regulatory Reporting Change Lead should have:

  • Proven expertise in banking regulations and regulatory reporting.
  • Ideally part or fully qualified accountant
  • Understanding of one of the major aspects of regulatory rules and reporting (liquidity, capital, large exposures, statistical reporting, FINREP)
  • Product Knowledge gained through working in the banking sector
  • Strong regulatory systems knowledge ideally Knowledge of WKFS (FRSGlobal) products across multiple countries
  • Experience in producing business requirements in liaison with Regulatory reporting teams.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead complex initiatives.
  • Ability to be able to interrogate and analyse data on Oracle based platform and / or MsAccess (SQL)
  • Functional expert and certified business analyst in Banking sector and across multiple countries
  • Experience collaborating with diverse stakeholders within the Banking sector.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing regulatory environments and implement effective solutions.
