The Financial Accountant will oversee financial reporting, compliance, and analysis within the retail technology sector. This permanent role is based in Chertsey and offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the Accounting & Finance department.

Description
- Understand the company's financial performance. Be responsilbe for the statutory reporting.
- Support monthly forecasting with the Finance Director.
- Compare forecasts to actual results and identify errors.
- Help improve finance processes and reporting.
- Attend weekly finance meetings for professional and managed services.
- Attend monthly EMEA finance calls and help resolve queries.
- Lead the month-end close process.
- Ensure revenue is recognised correctly.
- Accrue and match costs to revenue.
- Prepare the monthly UK charges invoice.
- Reconcile intercompany balances.
- Calculate monthly sales commissions.
- Maintain and understand the balance sheet.
- Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Verify assets and liabilities are accurate.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations.
Profile
A successful Financial Accountant should have:
- A recognised accounting qualification such as ACA or ACCA
- Proven experience in financial reporting and compliance
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- The ability to work effectively in a structured and collaborative environment.
Job Offer
£60,000 – £67,000 + bonus
