Financial Divisions

Salary £38,000 – £42,000 (Depending on Experience) + Bonus + Full Study Support

Structured Progression Pathway | Advisory Career Route | Established Wealth Management Practice

An excellent opportunity has arisen for both a Financial Administrator or Paraplanner to join a highly successful and growing wealth management practice in London.

The business is known for its collaborative culture, strong internal development focus and genuine commitment to progressing ambitious individuals into Financial Adviser roles over time. This is a rare opportunity to join a structured environment where you will gain exposure across the full financial planning process and be actively supported in building a long-term advisory career.

You will be joining a pooled technical team working closely with experienced Financial Advisers and Paraplanners, supporting a wide range of clients across pensions, investments, protection and holistic financial planning.

The firm is ideally seeking individuals with 1–2 years’ experience within a wealth management or financial planning environment who are either Level 4 qualified or actively working towards completion of the Diploma. Candidates with experience in structured financial planning environments will be well suited, but the key requirement is ambition, technical interest and a desire to progress into advice.

The Opportunity

You will become part of a collaborative team structure supporting advisers across all aspects of financial planning, with increasing exposure to technical work, client interaction and case complexity as you develop.

This is a genuine career development opportunity with a clearly defined route into Financial Advice.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting Financial Advisers and Paraplanners with day-to-day financial planning administration

• Preparing client meeting documentation and review packs

• Processing new business across pensions, investments and protection products

• Liaising with providers to ensure smooth and timely case progression

• Maintaining accurate client records across back-office systems

• Supporting suitability report preparation and technical analysis (Paraplanner level)

• Assisting with cashflow modelling and financial planning research where applicable

• Participating in client meetings and adviser-led discussions over time

• Managing workflow and supporting efficient case progression within the team

• Ensuring all work meets compliance and regulatory standards

• Progressing towards increased technical responsibility and ultimately a Financial Adviser role

Requirements

• 1–2 years’ experience within a Financial Planning, Wealth Management or IFA environment

• Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or actively working towards)

• Strong understanding of pensions, investments and financial planning processes

• Experience in financial services administration or paraplanning (depending on level)

• Strong communication and organisational skills

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Ambitious with a clear desire to progress into Financial Advice

• Ability to work effectively within a team environment

What's on Offer

• Salary £38,000 – £42,000 depending on experience

• Annual discretionary bonus

• Full study support towards Level 4 Diploma and beyond

• Clear and structured pathway into a Financial Adviser role

• Ongoing mentoring from experienced Financial Advisers

• Collaborative team structure with strong internal support

• 20 days holiday + birthday off (rising with service)

• Additional bank holidays and Christmas shutdown

• On-site gym access

• Auto-enrolment pension scheme

• Long-term career development within a growing financial planning business

Why This Opportunity Stands Out

This role offers a genuine, structured pathway into financial advice within a well-established and supportive wealth management environment.

Unlike many positions where progression is unclear or informal, this firm has a clear commitment to developing internal talent, offering mentoring, technical training and real client exposure to support your transition into an Adviser role over time.
