Financial Controller

This is a high-profile opportunity to work closely with senior leadership, providing commercial insight, driving profitability and supporting strategic decision-making across a diverse international operation.
The Role
As Financial Controller, you'll take ownership of management reporting, financial controls, budgeting and forecasting while acting as a key business partner to operational teams. You'll provide meaningful analysis and recommendations that help shape business performance and support continued growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the production of monthly management accounts, reporting and variance analysis
- Deliver detailed cost, margin and profitability analysis
- Drive budgeting, forecasting and cash flow planning
- Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and strengthen financial controls
- Support group reporting, treasury management and tax compliance
- Manage statutory accounts preparation and external audits
- Partner with operational teams to improve performance, processes and profitability
- Identify efficiencies and support continuous improvement initiatives, including the use of AI and technology
About You
- ACA, ACCA qualified
- Strong financial reporting and management accounting experience
- Commercially minded with excellent analytical skills
- Confident communicating with senior stakeholders and directors
- Experience within manufacturing, engineering or a multi-entity environment would be advantageous
- Proactive, ambitious and keen to make an impact
