Robert Half
Robert Half is partnering exclusively with a global services business based in Avonmouth to source an experienced Interim Finance Controller for an initial 3-4 month engagement.
Our client is going through a strong period of growth and is actively expanding its international footprint, with new overseas entities and VAT registrations in progress. As a result, the finance function is under pressure with month end and they need an experienced interim who can stabilise the close process quickly while bringing genuine technical depth to a stretched team.
- Duration: 3-4 months
- Hybrid: 3 days on site, 2 remote
- Day rate: Competitive
- Start: Immediate
Duties:
- Take ownership of the month-end close process.
- Manage CIS and VAT returns with the technical knowledge to handle queries confidently
- Get hands-on with Sage Intacct, helping the business exploit the system's full functionality – particularly around consolidation
- Support the transition of the consolidations from Excel into Sage Intacct
- Work across a multicurrency group with international VAT registrations and new entity setup currently in progress
What we're looking for:
- Strong, technical experience
- Sage Intacct experience
- Multicurrency / multi-entity group experience, ideally including international VAT registration or entity setup
- A proven track record of stabilising or improving a pressured month-end process
- Confident mentoring and upskilling less experienced finance team members
This is a fantastic opportunity for an interim finance professional to make a tangible, visible impact within a fast-growing international business.
