Atkinson Moss is supporting a growing business based in South Norfolk as they search for an accomplished Financial Controller to take ownership of the financial management and statutory compliance of UK entities. This is a key leadership role, partnering with local management and wider finance teams to deliver accurate reporting, robust financial controls, and commercial insight that supports business performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with business leaders to provide commercial insight, support investment decisions and drive performance.
- Lead monthly financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with UK statutory, tax and regulatory requirements, including Corporation Tax, VAT, P11Ds and R&D tax claims.
- Manage the UK statutory audit process.
- Oversight of payroll governance, benefits reporting and financial controls.
- Strengthen financial processes, controls and reporting across the UK business.
- Collaborate wider finance teams while acting as the UK subject matter expert for finance, tax and payroll.
About You
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA). QBE also considered
- Strong experience in financial control, statutory reporting and audit.
- Excellent knowledge of UK tax, payroll and regulatory requirements.
- Proven ability to deliver budgets, forecasts and insightful financial analysis.
- Confident business partner with strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Proactive, commercially minded and committed to continuous improvement.
