New Business Administrator – Financial Services (City of London)
Location: City of London
Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 DOE + company bonus
A well-established independent financial advisory and investment management firm is seeking a New Business Administrator to join its city-based team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and motivated individual to support advisers in delivering a high-quality, bespoke service to private and corporate clients.
You will play a key role in processing and managing new business, ensuring accuracy, compliance and efficiency across all client activities, while gaining exposure to investment products and portfolio management.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and prepare new business applications
- Obtain quotations and manage workflows (XPlan)
- Prepare KYC and fee disclosure documentation
- Check and issue contract notes
- Maintain accurate client records and ensure compliance
- Liaise with advisers, clients and providers to resolve queries
- Prepare client meeting packs
- Assist with investment and product analysis
- Support advisers with research and reporting
- Set up and manage workflows for new business
Requirements
- Experience in financial services administration is essential
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organisation
- Confident communication and professional manner
- Ability to manage workload in a fast-paced environment
- Good numerical skills and a proactive approach
