The Opportunity
An established and growing engineering business is seeking an experienced Ductwork Fitter to join its installation team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on varied projects across the UK, within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.
The Role
You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality installation work across commercial and industrial sites, including:
- Installation of ductwork systems
- Ventilation and extraction system fitting
- Interpreting and working from engineering drawings
- Ensuring all work meets strict health & safety standards
- Maintaining tools and equipment to a high standard
- Liaising with engineering and operations teams to overcome challenges on-site
- Supporting or leading small teams where required
About You
We’re looking for someone hands-on, reliable, and capable of working independently or as part of a team. You should have:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in ductwork installation/fitting
- Valid CSCS Card (essential)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Strong understanding of tolerances and installation standards
- Experience supervising or coordinating site activities (desirable)
- Willingness to travel across the UK and stay away when required
Additional certifications (advantageous):
- SSSTS
- PASMA
- IPAF
