Flood Risk Consultant Location: Manchester Salary: £33,000 – £54,000

The Opportunity As a Flood Risk Consultant, you'll be part of a dynamic team within our Water Management Consultancy. You'll engage in technical work such as data analysis, hydraulic modelling, hydrology, and GIS. Your role will involve ensuring quality assurance for technical deliverables and developing flood mitigation solutions.
Key Responsibilities – Conduct hydraulic modelling using TUFLOW, Flood Modeller, ESTRY, and InfoWorks ICM. – Perform hydrological assessments and flood risk analyses. – Collaborate with environmental scientists, engineers, and planners. – Support business development activities, including tendering and client engagement.
Candidate Requirements – Degree in Geography, Science, or Civil Engineering. – Proficiency in 1D-2D hydraulic modelling and GIS skills. – Experience in flood risk assessment and hydrology. – Strong interpersonal and organisational skills. – Motivated, collaborative, and adaptable.
