Job Title: FLT Operative & Packing Operative
Location: Highbridge
Job Type: Temporary (2-month contract but may extend)
Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour

Working Hours: 7:30am – 4:30pm, Monday to Friday

Role Overview

HRGO Recruitment are seeking a reliable and hardworking FLT Operative & Packing Operative to join a busy manufacturing environment. This is a varied, hands-on role involving forklift truck operation, polishing finished products, and packing goods ready for dispatch.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operating a Forklift Truck safely and efficiently
  • Polishing finished products to the required quality standards
  • Packing products for storage and dispatch
  • Loading and unloading materials as required
  • Assisting with general warehouse and production duties
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
  • Following all health and safety procedures at all times
  • Supporting the wider team to ensure production targets are met

Skills & Experience Required

  • Previous FLT experience required
  • Must be able to drive due to location
  • Valid FLT licence desirable; candidates with out-of-date or in-house licences will be considered, with a refresher course provided
  • Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or production environments advantageous
  • Good attention to detail and quality standards
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
  • Ability to carry out manual handling and physical tasks
