FLT Reach & Counterbalance Driver – Irlam
£14.00 per hour for the first 12 weeks, rising to £15.00 per hour Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm (37.5 hours per week)
My client, a well-established distribution company based in Irlam, is seeking a high-calibre FLT Reach & Counterbalance Driver to join their warehouse team. This is a long-term opportunity with a pay increase after 12 weeks.
Role Overview
- 10-20% FLT work (Reach & Counterbalance)
- 80-90% warehouse duties including order picking, packing, loading and unloading
- Heavy lifting involved
- Meet & greet assessment on Day 1
- 30-minute unpaid lunch break each day
Key Responsibilities
- FLT operation – safe and efficient use of Reach & Counterbalance trucks
- Order picking and packing
- General warehouse duties including goods in/out
- Manual handling and heavy lifting
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Requirements
- Valid FLT Reach and Counterbalance licences
- Previous warehouse experience
- Ability to lift heavy items safely
- Reliable, hardworking, and able to meet performance expectations
