Key Responsibilities – Food Technology Teacher in Ware
- Plan and deliver engaging Food Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Teach practical cooking skills, nutrition, food science, and food safety
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
- Inspire students to develop creativity, confidence, and independence in the kitchen
- Differentiate learning to support students of varying abilities
- Monitor, assess, and track student progress, providing constructive feedback
- Maintain a safe and organised classroom and food preparation environment
- Contribute to curriculum development and wider school activities where appropriate
The Ideal Candidate in Ware
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching Food Technology within a secondary school setting
- Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for food education
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to motivate and engage students of all abilities
- Organised, proactive, and committed to achieving positive outcomes
- Passion for equipping young people with valuable life skills
