Food Technology Teacher – Permanent Role

About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Food Technology Teacher to join a well-regarded secondary school in the Coventry and Warwickshire area. This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed educator to inspire students and contribute to a thriving Design & Technology department.You will be responsible for delivering high-quality Food Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, encouraging students to develop practical skills, creativity, and an understanding of nutrition and food preparation.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and practical Food Technology lessons
- Assess, monitor, and track student progress
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
- Contribute to curriculum development within the department
- Support students of varying abilities to achieve their full potential
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
- Proven UK secondary school teaching experience
- Experience teaching Food Technology at KS3 and KS4
- Strong classroom management skills
- A passion for food education and student engagement
- Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
