I am recruiting alongside a well-established and inclusive secondary school in Bristol for an inspiring and dedicated Food & Design Technology Teacher to join their team on a permanent basis.

About the Role:

As a Food & Design Technology Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and challenging lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Plan and deliver high-quality practical and theoretical lessons
  • Promote creativity, independence and problem-solving skills
  • Assess and monitor student progress in line with school policies
  • Support the development of the DT and Food curriculum
  • Contribute to enrichment opportunities and wider school life
  • Maintain high expectations for behaviour and engagement
  • Play an active role within a collaborative department

Who This Role Suits:

  • Qualified teachers of Food Technology, Design Technology or related subjects (QTS)
  • ECTs or experienced teachers seeking a supportive and inclusive school
  • Educators passionate about practical learning and student development
  • Teachers confident delivering KS3 & KS4 DT/Food content

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Strong subject knowledge in Food and/or Design Technology
  • Experience teaching at KS3 and KS4

  • A proactive and reflective approach to teaching
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development
