Calling for a Front of House Receptionist experience!
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Facilities Assistant to join a global financial services firm on a full-time basis in their Birmingham office.
This role will be providing facilities support to the business, a part of a national team. This role is both working Front of House and as a Facilities Assistant.
Key tasks:
- Professionally meet and greet clients, visitors, and staff, delivering an exceptional first impression
- Efficiently maintain and update the meeting room diary
- Accurately record and manage all incoming and outgoing couriers
- Adhere to Firm policies, procedures, and Information Security standards
- Proactively monitor meeting rooms, ensuring they are prepared and maintained to a high standard for meetings, lunches, and events
- Responsibly manage invoicing processes
- Maintain a clean, organised, and professional office environment
- Ensure filing cabinets are organised, accurate, and up to date
- Coordinate the timely dispatch of external post
- Ensure the accurate distribution of internal and external mail
- Conduct comprehensive Health & Safety inductions and efficient new starter set-ups
You will need the below skillset:

- High standards of punctuality and efficiency
- The ability to work both independently and as a team
- Exceptional prioritisation and organisational skills
- Self-motivated and driven
- Knowledgeable of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel
- Professional mannerisms and approach to all work activities
- Communication skills at all levels
For this role you will need to have had previous experience in a reception environment, assisting with general tasks regarding the daily duties in the Birmingham office.
