This is a broad role offering exposure well beyond traditional fund accounting/production. You'll work closely with investment professionals, operations and a variety of support functions, giving you real insight into the investment process and the opportunity to play an active part in supporting a growing business.
Responsibilities will include:
- Producing periodic financial and investor reporting across a range of infrastructure funds.
- Working alongside third-party administrators to review fund accounting, reconciliations and financial information.
- Supporting NAV, valuation and performance reporting processes.
- Assisting with management fee calculations, carried interest and other fund-level financial activities.
- Monitoring fund cash positions, expenses and budgets.
- Liaising with auditors, tax advisers and other external service providers throughout reporting cycles.
- Contributing to new fund launches, process improvements and wider finance initiatives.
- Building strong relationships with teams across finance, investments, legal, operations and investor services.
About you
You'll be a qualified accountant with around 2-4 years post qualified experience gained within fund accounting or fund finance, either at a fund administrator or an investment management business with exposure to alternative assets.
You'll also have:
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive approach and willingness to take ownership.
- Strong attention to detail and a naturally inquisitive mindset.
- The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-moving environment.
- Strong Excel skills, with an interest in improving processes through technology and automation.
