Fundraising Manager – Stewardship

Description

  • Develop and implement fundraising strategies targeting mid level donors, trusts, and legacy giving.
  • Build and manage a portfolio of mid level donors, cultivating strong relationships to increase income.
  • Design and deliver stewardship programmes to engage, retain, and grow donor support.
  • Lead and execute fundraising activities, including events, networking, and donor engagement initiatives.
  • Research, write, and submit funding applications to trusts, foundations, and dioceses.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create compelling cases for support and impact reports.
  • Manage fundraising budgets, ensuring income targets and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Maintain accurate donor data and reporting using CRM systems, ensuring data protection compliance.

Profile

  • Proven experience managing mid-level donor portfolios and achieving fundraising targets.
  • Strong background in writing funding applications and creating donor-facing materials.
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit, retain, and grow supporter relationships.
  • Experience designing and delivering effective stewardship and cultivation programmes.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
  • Confident public speaker with strong written and presentation abilities.
  • Knowledge of fundraising regulations, GDPR, and donor database systems (e.g. Raiser's Edge).
  • Collaborative, proactive, and adaptable, with alignment to the organisation's values and ethos.

Job Offer

  • Daily rate equivalent of £41,796 – £44,884
  • Interim contract until April 2027
  • 2 days per week in London office
