PBSA General Manager | Brighton | Permanent
We are looking for an experienced and people-focused General Manager to lead a PBSA residence in Brighton. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who can combine operational excellence with a genuine commitment to resident wellbeing, team development, and inclusive community building.
35 hours a week.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the residence.
- Lead occupancy, bookings, viewings, and rent collection performance.
- Maintain high standards of safety, compliance, and building presentation.
- Build positive relationships with students, universities, local partners, and suppliers.
- Support a positive, collaborative team culture.
- Identify improvements and contribute to wider business initiatives.
About you
- Proven leadership experience in PBSA, residential, or hospitality.
- Strong commercial awareness and confidence with financial reporting.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Highly organised, calm under pressure, and comfortable juggling priorities.
- Tech-savvy, proactive, and committed to delivering a great experience for residents.

This is a part-time (35 hours a week), permanent role based in Brighton, with some weekend working required.
