The Role
- Carrying out Phase 1 desk studies and site investigations.
- Supervising ground investigation works, including trial pits, boreholes and soil sampling.
- Logging soil and groundwater conditions.
- Reviewing laboratory testing results and assisting with data interpretation.
- Preparing geoenvironmental and contaminated land reports.
- Supporting remediation and validation projects.
- Liaising with clients, contractors and project teams.
- Ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Requirements
- Experience working within a Geoenvironmental, Contaminated Land or Ground Investigation role.
- A degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Earth Sciences or a related subject.
- Knowledge of UK ground investigation practices and contaminated land assessment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.
- Full UK driving licence.
