About the Role

Halewood Academy is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Geography Teacher to join their team as soon as possible. This is an excellent opportunity to deliver high-quality Geography lessons and inspire students across the curriculum in a supportive and forward-thinking school environment.

This role is being recruited via The Supply Register, offering a transparent and supportive route into a long-term teaching opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and well-structured Geography lessons across relevant key stages

  • Plan, prepare, and assess in line with the national curriculum

  • Track student progress and support positive outcomes

  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment

  • Work collaboratively with the Humanities department and wider school team

About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Has experience teaching Geography at secondary level (ECTs welcome to apply)

  • Is passionate about Geography and student engagement

  • Has strong behaviour management and organisational skills

  • Is reliable, flexible, and committed to high standards
