Grab Wagon Driver / Operator – Sheffield (ASAP Start)
Location:Sheffield Pay Rate: £21.00 per hour Hours: Monday-Friday, 07:30-16:00 (40 hours per week + overtime available) Contract: Approx. 3 months (potential extension)
About the Role
Berry Recruitment is working on behalf of a client to recruit an experienced Grab Wagon Driver / Clamshell Operator for an immediate start in Sheffield. This role is ideal for someone with strong civils, highways or materials-handling experience who is confident operating grab wagons and managing site movements safely.
Key Responsibilities

Operating a grab wagon with clamshell attachment
-
Transporting materials including stone, concrete, muck and tarmac

Lifting pallets using straps

Supporting depot and site teams with material movements

Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting defects

Working safely and efficiently within site guidelines
Requirements

Valid Grab Wagon licence / operator certification

Experience using clamshell grab equipment

Strong understanding of material handling and site safety

Reliable, punctual and able to work independently

Immediate availability preferred
