An exciting opportunity has arisen for Reed Business Support's client for a creative and motivated graduate to join a growing business based in Rochester. This position focuses on supporting the tender team in producing high-quality bids and contract proposals.
This role is ideal for a graduate with a passion for writing, looking to apply their creative skills in a more commercial and strategic environment.
The Role
You will play a key role in supporting the bid and tender process, helping to create compelling written proposals that win new business. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure submissions are engaging, accurate, and aligned to client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Producing clear, engaging written content for bids, tenders, and contract submissions
- Supporting the tender team in developing persuasive and tailored proposals
- Editing and proofreading documentation to ensure clarity, consistency, and quality
- Collaborating with internal teams to gather information and shape responses
- Contributing creative ideas to improve the quality and impact of submissions
Requirements
- A recent graduate (or equivalent) in English, Creative Writing, or a related discipline
- Strong evidence of creative writing from studies (e.g. coursework, portfolio, projects)
- Excellent written communication skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to write in a structured, clear, and engaging way for different audiences
- A proactive and organised approach to work
