A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Graduate Geotechnical Engineer to join a well-established, independent engineering consultancy based in Chester. Operating for over 40 years, this team provides specialist civil, structural, geotechnical and environmental engineering services across residential, commercial and industrial projects throughout the North West.

As a Graduate Geotechnical Engineer, you will support a range of ground investigation and geotechnical assessment projects, gaining hands-on experience from site investigation through to technical reporting and foundation recommendations. This is an excellent opportunity for a Graduate Geotechnical Engineer looking to develop their career within a supportive and experienced team.
The Role

Assisting with site investigations and ground assessments

Logging soil and rock samples
-
Preparing technical reports and factual data

Supporting geotechnical and geo-environmental assessments

Liaising with clients, contractors and internal teams

Undertaking site visits across the region
Requirements
-
Degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Geology, Geoscience, Earth Sciences a related environmental discipline

Strong communication and report-writing skills

Full UK driving licence
-
Full right to work in the UK

Ability to work both on-site and in the office

Must live within a commutable distance of the Chester office
