They are looking to recruit an ambitious Graduate Geotechnical Design Engineer to join their expanding London team.

The position of Graduate Geotechnical Design Engineer offers an excellent opportunity to begin your career within a supportive and technically focused environment. You will gain exposure to a wide range of projects across the residential, commercial, infrastructure and energy sectors while working alongside experienced engineers and industry specialists.
Requirements for the role of Graduate Geotechnical Design Engineer: * Degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Engineering Geology or a related discipline * Strong academic background with a keen interest in geotechnical design * Understanding of soil mechanics and foundation engineering principles * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities * Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team * Full UK driving licence preferred
Duties and responsibilities: * Assist with the design of foundations, retaining walls, slope stabilisation and earthworks schemes * Undertake geotechnical analysis and calculations using industry-standard software * Interpret ground investigation data and prepare geotechnical assessments * Produce technical reports, specifications and design documentation * Support senior engineers in the delivery of projects from feasibility through to construction * Liaise with clients, contractors and multidisciplinary project teams * Attend site visits and monitor ground investigation and construction activities * Assist with geotechnical risk assessments and value engineering solutions * Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with relevant standards and industry guidance * Contribute to the continuous development of technical knowledge and engineering best practice
