In this role, the successful Graduate/Trainee/Junior Mechanical Engineer or similar will be responsible for developing both customer proposals as well as supporting documentation. In addition, you will also be responsible for supporting both quotations and cost estimate calculations, as well as assisting in generating proposals, layouts and concept models. On top of this, you will be responsible for preparing rendered images and visualisations for customer presentations. Finally, you will be responsible for supporting the development of standard product offerings.
The ideal Graduate/Trainee/Junior Mechanical Engineer or similar will have a strong knowledge of CAD software's. In addition, you will also have a prior knowledge of design and/or sales within the Mechanical Engineering sector or a related field, with a desire to build on your technical aptitude. On top of this, you will also have had prior practical experience within 3D Design/Modelling. Finally, you will have strong organisational, communicational and analytical skills, with the ability to work well both autonomously as well as part of a team.
The Role:
- Developing both customer proposals as well as supporting documentation
- Supporting both quotations and cost estimate calculations
- Preparing rendered images and visualisations for customer presentations
The Person:
- Prior practical experience within 3D Design/Modelling
- Prior knowledge of design and/or sales within the Mechanical Engineering sector or a related field
- Strong organisational, communicational and analytical skills
