Graduate Teacher Training Opportunity – Primary & Secondary
Stoke-on-Trent | Start ASAP | £95-£105 per day (dependent on experience)
Tradewind Recruitment are delighted to be working in partnership with St Gabriel the Archangel CMAT in Stoke-on-Trent to recruit graduates who are eager to begin their journey into teaching.
This exciting opportunity is open to graduates wishing to pursue either Primary or Secondary Teacher Training, offering a structured and supportive route into the profession.
The Pathway into Teaching
Through our exclusive arrangement with the Trust, you will:

Work as a full-time, long-term Teaching Assistant for one academic year

Be placed within one of the Trust's Primary or Secondary schools

Gain invaluable classroom experience and develop your confidence

Receive mentorship and guidance from experienced teaching professionals
Following a successful year as a Teaching Assistant, the school will take you on to complete your formal Teacher Training directly through the Trust.
This pathway allows you to:

Earn while you gain meaningful classroom experience

Fully immerse yourself in school life before undertaking formal training

Progress into a teacher training programme within a supportive and established Catholic Multi Academy Trust
The Role – Teaching Assistant (Long-Term)
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

Support teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons
-
Work with small groups and individual pupils
-
Provide targeted academic intervention
-
Assist with planning, preparation and classroom organisation

Contribute positively to the wider school community
We welcome applications from graduates in core and foundational subjects such as English, Maths, Science, Humanities, MFL, Computer Science, Art and Design Technology. As well as a passion for Primary and Secondary Teaching.
Pay
£95-£105 per day, depending on prior experience.
£95 – Bachelors degree in any subject
£100 – Bachelors degree in any subject and some experience working in education
£105 – Bachelors degree in a core subject (Maths, English Science) and some experience working in education.
Start Date
This role is available to start ASAP and will continue for the full academic year.
