* ** Provide academic support across Key Stage 3 and 4The Role:
* Supporting students in lessons across different subjects
* Working with pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
* Helping students stay focused and engaged
* Supporting those with SEND, SEMH or additional needs
* Assisting with behaviour and wellbeing throughout the school day
* Delivering small group interventions where needed
* Working closely with teachers, pastoral and SEND teams
* Providing personal or intimate care if trainedThe Candidate:
You are clear, organised, and able to explain scientific ideas in a way pupils can actually follow. You want practical secondary school experience, enjoy helping students improve in English, Science and Maths, and are keen to develop the classroom skills needed for a future in teaching.
Requirements
* Degree – A 2:2 or above in English, Science or Maths or a related subject.
* Communication – Clear and confident verbal and written communication.
* Enhanced DBS – Must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS certificate.
* Desire to work in education/with children – Genuine interest in supporting pupil progress and wellbeing.
* Career Goals – A desire to train as a teacher and build a long-term career in education.
