Graduate Teaching Assistant – Newham, East London
Prospero Teaching is seeking ambitious graduates interested in a career in education to join a supportive secondary school in Newham as Graduate Teaching Assistants and Subject Mentors.
Role Details:
- Location: Newham, East London
- Position: Graduate Teaching Assistant
- Contract: Term Time Only
- Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:15am-3:45pm
Responsibilities:
- Support teachers in delivering lessons across KS3, KS4 and KS5
- Provide 1:1 and small group intervention support
- Assist students with learning, engagement and progress
- Work collaboratively with teaching and support staff across departments
- Gain valuable classroom experience before teacher training
Requirements:
- Degree qualified
- Good GCSE results
- Passion for education and supporting young people
- Right to Work in the UK
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Two professional references
