Post Description: Grass Cutter
The duties will be to undertake labouring (mostly grass cutting, mowing, weed spraying), within a protected (traffic managed) site on the highspeed road network.
Adequate and appropriate training (and PPE) will be provided by TRS for usage of equipment, appropriate behaviours and working within traffic management protected sites.
Driving license is required for successful candidates, as they are expected to work out of the three operational depots – Ynysforgan (Jcn 45 M4), Pencoed (Jcn 35 M4), Goat Mill (Dowlais, Merthyr Tydfil).
Standard hours are 8 per working day Monday-Thursday, 7.5 on Friday (including daily half hour lunch break), with possible additional work on nights and weekends – depending on operational needs and required skills & experience levels
