Grounds Maintenance Operative (Temporary – 2 Months)
Location: Ipswich, Suffolk
Hours: 37 hours per week
Pay Rate: £14.50 per hour
Contract: Temporary (2 months)
We are currently recruiting for a Grounds Maintenance Operative to join a dedicated team working across multiple sites in the Ipswich area. This is a hands on role ideal for someone with prior experience in grounds care who enjoys working outdoors as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Grass cutting using pedestrian and ride-on mowers
- Hedge trimming and maintenance
- Pruning of plants, shrubs, and small trees
- General upkeep of landscaped areas
- Ensuring all sites are maintained to a high standard
- Working across multiple locations as required
Requirements:
- Previous experience in grounds maintenance or landscaping is essential.
- Full UK driving licence (required for travel between sites)
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic
- Physically fit and capable of outdoor manual work in various weather conditions
