Group Finance Manager | Creative Agency – HYBRID Film, TV, VFX, Gaming & Immersive Experiences | London | £55,000 – £70,000
Looking to take your technical accounting experience into a growing, project-led creative business?
We're partnering with an innovative international business operating across the creative industries, looking to appoint a Group Finance Manager to join its finance team.
Working closely with the Financial Controller, you'll become a key part of the group's financial reporting function, taking ownership of month-end close, group reporting, statutory compliance and technical accounting across multiple entities. Alongside ensuring robust financial controls, you'll support finance transformation, systems improvements and the continued development of the finance function as the business grows.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong accountant looking to broaden their exposure within a fast-paced, creative environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the monthly group reporting and financial close process
- Prepare accurate management accounts and consolidated reporting across multiple entities
- Deliver insightful variance analysis and financial commentary for senior leadership
- Manage intercompany accounting and reconciliations
- Support statutory reporting, audit and tax compliance
- Review payroll accounting and balance sheet reconciliations
- Oversee accounting for intangible assets and capitalised project costs
- Support ongoing finance systems improvements, including NetSuite optimisation
- Assist with wider finance transformation and group projects
We're looking for someone with:
- ACA qualified (Top 20 or Big 4 practice background highly desirable)
- ACCA will also be considered where there is strong financial reporting experience
- Experience within a Group Accountant, Financial Accountant, Financial Reporting or Group Finance role
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP
- Multi-entity reporting experience
- Excellent Excel skills and strong analytical ability
- A proactive, organised and hands-on approach
- Experience within Media, Entertainment, Film, TV, Gaming, VFX, Animation, Creative Agencies or another project-led business would be highly advantageous
- NetSuite or ERP implementation experience is a bonus
