Group Financial Accountant, Luxury Hospitality, paying c£55k + bonus and other benefits
Super opportunity to work in a lean, senior & knowledgeable Group finance team for a luxury Hotel international business. The role has a nice mix of month end, treasury & business partnering with the corporate functions, with clear prospects as the Group continues to add to their growing real estate.
If you are recently qualified in practice, this is a fantastic opportunity to cut your teeth in industry, with superb line manager.
Key responsibilities
- Corporate month end close, including all relevant journals for accruals, prepayments
- Preparing and posting the accounting entries for the Group’s debt, interest and hedging
- Preparation of the group internal debt funding calculations and provision of monthly debt / interest statements to the hotels
- Owner of the intercompany matrix and intercompany loan accounts
- Reporting on cash reserves available to the Group including preparation of the short-term cash flow model and weekly cash report
- Working with Hotel FC’s to monitor and manage working capital requirements
- Processing of funds transfers and foreign currency purchases
- Working with external advisors on the accounting and administration for various overseas Corporate subsidiaries
- Contributing to the preparation of Group and UK subsidiary statutory accounts
- Supporting the Group audit process
- Supporting on UK tax matters including VAT and Corporation Tax
- Support for Group Financial Reporting & Treasury Manager and VP of Finance on ad-hoc projects as required.
If you are a Chartered Accountant in a top 20 firm, with some relevant sector/client experience, be it hospitality, retail, real estate, this could be for you.
