Are you seeking your next interim Group Financial Controller role?
This is an immediate assignment, working for a listed business in Leicestershire.
Contract: until the end December 2026
Location: Leicestershire (3 days on-site)
The business is going through a period of transformation. This opportunity is a key leadership position where you will take full ownership of the Group's financial accounting function. It will include statutory reporting, group consolidation, and audit.
You will play a key role driving robust controls across the group and looking at process improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
· Leading the half year and full year close process
· Ensure operating company ledgers and balance sheet reconciliations are completed accurately and on time
· Act as primary liaison with auditors, staying ahead of new accounting standards and regulatory developments
· Lead and develop the financial accounting and transactional accounting teams
· Oversee Fixed Assets, cash flow forecasting, banking relationships, FX, tax and IFRS16 lease accounting
· Provide proactive insight to the CFO and Exec team on the Group's financial position, particularly working capital and cash
About you:
· Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with strong IFRS and UK GAAP knowledge
· Proven Group/listed business experience, with strong statutory reporting and consolidation skills
· Confident, hands-on leader with team management experience
