Handy Person (Temporary)
Location: Cheltenham
Job Type: Temporary (3–6 months)
Hours: 25 hours per week/ 5 days a week
We are seeking a reliable, hands-on Handy Person to support the day-to-day upkeep of our client’s premises. Working alongside the Estates team, you’ll help ensure the site is well maintained, safe and presentable.
Key responsibilities:
- Carry out general maintenance and basic repairs (e.g. minor plumbing, painting, fixing fittings)
- Identify and resolve day-to-day issues promptly
- Support planned preventative maintenance tasks
- Assist with contractor access and oversee minor works
- Monitor site condition, cleanliness and presentation
- Conduct basic checks on equipment and report faults
- Provide occasional out-of-hours support if needed
Requirements:
- Previous maintenance or hands-on experience
- Practical, capable with general DIY tasks
- Proactive and able to work with minimal supervision
- Good communication and basic health & safety awareness
