HEAD OF ENGINEERING

THE ROLE:
You will take ownership of the Engineering function, providing leadership across technical delivery, people management and engineering operations. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and scaling the Engineering team as the business grows
- Establishing strong engineering processes, standards and ways of working
- Providing architectural oversight and technical direction across the platform
- Ensuring high-quality, on-time delivery of complex, enterprise-grade projects
- Developing, mentoring and supporting senior engineers and technical leaders
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
You will bring strong capability in:
- Hands-on engineering leadership within fast-paced startup environments
- Backend, data engineering or full-stack systems at scale
- Technical strategy, architecture and long-term platform design
- Managing and empowering highly capable senior engineers
- Cross-functional delivery, stakeholder management and prioritisation
- Experience with KGs (knowledge graphs) and Neo4J
THE BENEFITS:
You will receive a salary up to £130,000 depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package. This is a fully remote role within a growing Series A business, offering significant scope for impact, ownership and progression.
