Inclusive Learning Head of Faculty

We are seeking an ambitious and passionate Head of Faculty to lead and further develop our specialist provision for young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is committed to transforming the educational experience and outcomes of learners who may have previously been in specialist provision or out of education altogether.
About the Role
As Head of Faculty, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across our Inclusive Learning provision. You will drive high-quality teaching, learning and assessment, ensuring that all students receive a personalised, inclusive and aspirational education that leads to positive destinations. You will lead a skilled and dedicated team, shaping a provision that is responsive, innovative and centred on the needs of some of our most vulnerable learners.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop personalised programmes of study, ensuring consistently high standards
- Design and deliver a curriculum that meets diverse SEND needs through evidence based practice
- Drive improvements in student progress engagement and outcomes
- Support and develop staff through effective leadership, coaching and professional development
- Build strong partnerships with external agencies, families, and stakeholders
- Promote a culture of inclusion, safeguarding and wellbeing
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Is a qualified SEND practitioner with a strong track record of impact
- Has experience of leadership within SEND or alternative provision
- Demonstrates a deep understanding of inclusive pedagogy and SEND strategies
- Is committed to improving outcomes for learners with complex needs
- Has excellent communication, organisation and leadership skills
- Brings vision, resilience and a genuine passion for inclusive education
