Meraki Accountancy & Finance’s city centre based client are looking to add a Hands on Finance Manager to the current team to take ownership of the finance function within a fast-paced, commercially focused organisation.
This is a broad and influential role where you'll lead day-to-day finance operations, manage cashflow and foreign currency exposure, oversee month-end and year-end processes, and provide meaningful financial insight to senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a small finance team.
- Manage cashflow, banking relationships, and multi-currency transactions.
- Oversee month-end reporting, management accounts, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Ensure VAT, payroll, statutory reporting, and compliance obligations are met.
- Deliver accurate financial reporting and analysis to senior stakeholders and Board members.
- Drive continuous improvement across finance systems, controls, and processes.
- Manage year-end audit and annual budgeting cycles.
About You
- ICAS / ACCA / CIMA qualified or qualified by experience.
- Proven Finance Manager or Senior Finance experience within an SME environment.
- Strong background in management accounting, cashflow management, and financial controls.
- Experience producing Board-level reporting and commercial financial analysis.
- Knowledge of VAT, payroll, and UK statutory compliance requirements.
- Confident leader with excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with multi-currency transactions and foreign exchange exposure is advantageous.
