ABPM are retained by this exciting and growing group of companies that is privately held. Operating in the service and retail sectors, they have a number of sites that need to be overseen by this post. As a newly created role and reporting into the Group Managing Director, this is an excellent opportunity to bring your knowledge and skill set to deliver the direction and detail of the strategy of this appointment.
As Head of Health, Safety & Environment (HSEQ), you are responsible for developing, leading, and embedding a strong health, safety, and environmental culture across the organisation. The role ensures compliance with all relevant legislation, reduces risk, drives continuous improvement, and protects employees, contractors, the public, and the environment.
All site managers will report to the Head of HSEQ for safety, training, and compliance matters.
The successful candidate will demonstrate competence in the following:
- Degree or equivalent qualification in health & safety management, training, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience managing teams across multiple locations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Highly organised, with excellent attention to detail.
