Head of Pre-School Private Independent School – West Essex
We are seeking an exceptional and inspiring Head of Pre-School to lead our thriving Early Years provision at a well-established independent school in West Essex.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate early years professional to shape and develop a high-quality, nurturing environment where children aged 2-4 flourish through curiosity, creativity and care.
The Role As Head of Pre-School, you will: · Provide strategic leadership and day-to-day management of the Pre-School · Lead, motivate and support a dedicated Early Years team · Ensure outstanding standards of teaching, learning and pastoral care · Deliver a rich, play-based curriculum aligned with EYFS principles · Build strong relationships with parents, carers and the wider school community · Ensure full compliance with Safeguarding and Ofsted requirements
The Ideal Candidate Will Have: · A recognised Early Years qualification (Level 3 minimum; degree preferred) · Proven leadership experience within an Early Years setting · A deep understanding of the EYFS framework and best practice · A warm, nurturing and child-centred approach · Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills · A commitment to maintaining the highest standards of care and education
